Agreement to Terms
By booking, attending, or continuing to use our services at Sabél Studios, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Throughout, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Sabél Studios.
These terms are organised in the following sections:
1. Memberships & payments
1.1 Memberships
Memberships are billed weekly in advance. Your first payment is taken on the day you sign up, and every payment after that on the same day each week.
Each membership includes a set allowance of credits: class credits each week, and sauna or massage credits each month, depending on your plan. Credits are tied to the membership you choose and cannot be transferred between plans. Credits reset each week or month and do not carry over.
All memberships have a minimum 12-week commitment. After the initial 12-week period, you may cancel your membership by giving 30 days’ written notice. Weekly billing continues throughout the notice period. If you cancel a discounted membership, re-joining will be at the current pricing.
1.2 Pricing
All prices are in AUD and include GST.
We review membership prices once a year, in July. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is one of the factors we consider, and prices may change as a result.
Some memberships include a discount on services provided by Sabél Studios. Chiropractic and physiotherapy are provided by our partner, Precision Health Spine and Sports Clinic, and are not included in membership discounts. Other discounts may apply through studio promotions or at our discretion.
Make sure there are enough funds in your account on your billing day. If an auto-debit fails, you may incur additional bank fees.
1.3 Membership holds
If you need to pause your membership, give us 2 weeks notice in writing to request a hold. Holds must be at least 2 weeks, and you can hold for up to 3 months in total each year. Payments stop for the length of the hold.
1.4 Late cancellations and no-shows
To ensure fair access to classes, the class credit is not returned and an $8 fee applies if you:
- Cancel less than 8 hours before class
- Do not attend a class you have booked
1.5 Refunds
All purchases are final and non-transferable, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise. A change of mind does not qualify for a refund.
1.6 Changes to memberships
We may change the memberships we offer. If a change affects your membership, we will let you know in advance.
2. In the studio
2.1 Safety in the studio
What we ask of you:
- Arrive at least 5 minutes early; late arrivals may be turned away
- Wear grip socks for reformer classes, available for purchase at the studio
- Wipe down machines and accessories after use
- Tell your instructor about pre-existing injuries before attending
- If you are pregnant, tell your instructor and bring written medical clearance
What to expect:
- Classes are physically demanding, so we recommend getting medical advice before starting any exercise program
- Instructors may use hands-on cues to guide your form and keep you safe. Please let us know if you would rather they didn’t
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen belongings
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury arising from participation in classes
2.2 Courtesy and conduct
All clients will be treated with courtesy, fairness, and respect, and we expect the same in return. Threatening, abusive, or unreasonable behaviour toward our team will not be tolerated.
If we consider someone’s behaviour unacceptable, we may limit or end contact, ask that future contact go through a third party, report the matter to authorities, or end their membership.
2.3 Media release
You consent to us and our partners using photos, videos, and recordings for promotional purposes.
If you would prefer not to appear, please let your instructor know before or during the session, and we will not use images of you.
3. General
3.1 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is always the current one, and continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
3.2 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
